Publisher details

Name, legal form, postal address and e-mail address are available at bankbetsnz.com, so that the site can be identified and complaints or questions have an address.

What the site is, and is not

The site is informational. Bets are not taken on it, no customer account is held and no money is received; it also does not stand between readers and a bookmaker. Forecasts that guarantee a win do not appear.

Betting law in New Zealand, briefly

TAB NZ is the only provider lawfully allowed to offer racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand, a position that dates from 28 June 2025 and rests on section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020. Its online brands are TAB and Betcha. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. Another bookmaker cannot hold a New Zealand licence, since none can be applied for. The minimum age for betting with TAB NZ is 18.

Content and its limits

Pages are written with care and reviewed regularly, yet odds, markets and offer terms change constantly, so what the provider currently states is decisive. Nzbankbets is not liable for decisions made on the strength of its content. Misleading conduct in trade is prohibited by the Fair Trading Act 1986, and the site is written accordingly.

Links were checked on the day they were added. What an outside page later contains is outside the site’s control and is its owner’s responsibility. A link leading to unlawful content is taken down after a report.

The Copyright Act 1994 protects the texts, tables and graphics here. Anything beyond fair dealing requires the editors’ written consent first.

Gambling harm

Betting brings a risk of harm. A person noticing excessive gambling in themselves or in someone close can contact the Gambling Helpline or Safer Gambling Aotearoa. Deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion are among the tools TAB NZ describes on its own pages.
